Lawyers in Denmark have a duty to take out liability insurance. The rules apply to all lawyers regardless of the type of law firm. 

ADVOCATFIRMAET KRARUP has taken out liability insurance in accordance with section 61 of the Law Society's statutes. 

The insurance covers liability-related errors of up to DKK 2,500,000, corresponding to the minimum coverage. There is a deductible of DKK 25,000. 

Pursuant to section 62 of the Law Society's statutes, a guarantee of up to DKK 5,000,000 must also be provided in case the lawyer misuses the funds entrusted to him by the client. 

Both schemes have been signed with the insurance company TRYG under policy number 674 21.082.
