Media

ADVOCATFIRMAET KRARUP has in recent years gained some expertise in representing clients who have problems with media in one way or another. It may be a violation of good press ethics, defamation or libel. 

We evaluate free  of charge whether a particular article is in violation of good press ethics, defamation or incitement, and whether there is a basis for pursuing the case. If so, we will, if possible, work out a strategy for a fixed fee, including a referral to the press conference. Outside of the fixed fee, a possible lawsuit falls. 

These may also be cases where the media has unjustly made use of your image and where you have the copyright.

At ADVOCATFIRMAET KRARUP, we always recommend our clients - if they have the copyright to a picture - to send an invoice to the media that has unjustly used a picture. The Danish Journalist Associationhas a template for this, and if you are a member there, we recommend that you contact us in the first instance.

If the medium does not want to pay, then we take the case as a collection case, where the client is only charged the fees we collect in connection with the collection case.

Criminal Law

We also conduct criminal cases - either privately or as ordered by the Court.

Defense attorneys are either admitted through the notified attorneys who are associated with the court, or one is asked as the defendant or who is wrong to have a specific lawyer appointed and appointed.
